EUR-OCEANS Final Conference (Rome, November 2008)

The final meeting of the EUR-OCEANS Network of Excellence will be an Open European Conference on "Global Change and Marine Ecosystems", to be held at the Cavour Congress Centre in Rome, Italy, from 25 through 27 November 2008. The detailed agenda of the Conference as well as practical information on travel and accomodation can be found below this text.

During the conference, you will have the opportunity to present your recent scientific achievements in a 15-minute oral communication (10-min presentation + 5 min for questions and discussion). There will be sessions on Themes (Ecosystems end-to-end, Biogeochemistry, Ecosystem approach to marine resources, Impact of global change on marine ecosystems) and Systems (North Atlantic Cluster, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Southern Ocean, and Upwelling Systems). All researchers working on a topic relevant to EUR-OCEANS - not only the EUR-OCEANS PIs or associated scientists -- are invited to submit a title and abstract.
