Equation Description :

Picophytoplankton growth in PlankTOM follows the expression of phytoplankton in PISCES (see right for link). Growth is defined by primary production, less the excetion to DOC, and the loss terms mortality due to nutrient limitation, aggregation sinking and grazing.
