Equation Description :

Nanophytoplankton budget in PISCES is controlled by a production term, minus losses to mortality and grazing by the two zooplankton groups (micro- and mesozooplankton, Z and M). The production terms for nano/picophytoplankton is defined by mu P as shown above.
